ESP assisted York County with the site of its new government center building, which consists of a footprint of 20,000 square feet on four levels for a total of 80,000 square feet of office space. Associated parking and infrastructure are also included on the site. Design services for the site included foundation and parking area plantings, construction and bid administration, and coordination with contractors for close-outs. 

Parking area plantings provided screening, ample shade, and space for parking lot lights. Streetscape design along South Congress and West Jefferson Streets meet the City of York’s Historic District requirements. Design incorporated formal seating areas with a mixture of shade trees, including the preservation of existing tree cover.
