ESP provided preliminary and design-level geotechnical engineering services and construction-phase services for the construction of a 46,000-square-foot, three-story office building above a two-level, below-grade parking deck structure with associated drives and infrastructure. The geotechnical engineering services included performing soil test borings, rock coring, shear wave velocity testing, and subsurface water flow rate testing.

ESP also provided geotechnical analysis and recommendations regarding general site development, foundation bearing and settlement, slope stability, lateral earth pressures, seismic site classification, temporary shoring, temporary/permanent dewatering, standard and heavy-duty pavement design, and ground improvements using aggregate piers to reduce differential settlement potentials. 

During construction, ESP provided Special Inspection and construction materials testing services for foundations, reinforcing steel, reinforcing concrete, water proofing, masonry, structural steel, sprayed fire-resistant material, stone base, and asphalt.
