CivilCorp, an ESP company, prepared plans and bid documents for the widening of 1.28 miles of McCoy Road to provide two 12-foot travel lanes with 8-foot shoulders, a new UPRR railroad crossing, and roadway illumination. This project also involved the complete reconstruction of 0.68 miles of Bayer Road to provide two 12-foot lanes.
Project design included pavement, drainage structures, major utility adjustments, SW3P, and illumination. The new roadway and roadway redesign will provide improved access and enhanced safety for commercial traffic accessing the Port of Victoria.
