The Halligan Water Supply Project (HWSP) is a significant initiative aimed at increasing the capacity of the Halligan Reservoir in Northern Colorado. This reservoir, which has been in place for over a century, is set to expand from 6,400 acre-feet to an impressive 14,600 acre-feet to address growing water demands in the region.
This $300M project has been in development for over 20 years and is currently progressing through permitting, environmental monitoring, and property/easement acquisition, with construction expected in 2025. Ditesco, an ESP company, is providing comprehensive program management services for the project, working closely with city staff to ensure seamless execution across all project phases.
Our team is managing critical tasks, including overseeing geotechnical investigations, supporting permitting efforts, reviewing design documents, and implementing effective project controls. During construction, we will monitor progress, assess potential risks, and develop strategies to ensure the project stays on track with respect to both schedule and budget. Our construction management efforts will include field inspection, documentation, and coordination with contractors to ensure all work aligns with all plans and specifications.
