Greenville Pavement & Asset Inventory

ESP conducted an automated survey of the pavement conditions for approximately 353 miles of streets maintained by the City of Greenville, in partnership with the Greenville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).

This survey employed our Iris ProPAVE system, featuring the latest LCMS-2 sensors. The collected data was processed following the methodology outlined in ASTM D6433. The resulting distress and Pavement Condition Index (PCI) values were provided in a geodatabase compatible with the Pavement Express system used by the city.

Additionally, ESP performed mobile lidar collection over the same 353 miles of city streets using our VMX-1HA Riegl system. This assessment evaluated the condition of the city’s sidewalks and curb ramps, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The city will have the option to utilize this data for any future needs.
