City of Loveland 43rd Street Water Tank
Ditesco, an ESP Company, served as the construction manager for the City of Loveland’s new 3.5-million-gallon, post-tensioned water storage tank. This new $11.5M tank adds important water storage capacity to Loveland’s distribution system, supporting community growth and improving system reliability. By reducing the operating time needed for distribution pumps, the tank also helps improve the efficiency and dependability of the water system.
The Ditesco team played a key role in delivering the project on time and on budget by managing contracts, providing on-site support, and maintaining communication between the owner, engineer, and contractor. Our services included quality assurance inspections, contract oversight, and resident engineering to quickly resolve field issues.

Construction occurred from April 2024 to June 2025, and the project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule. With the tank being located in the foothills, rock blasting was required to excavate the tank’s footprint. This required careful planning during both design and construction phases to ensure the tank could be built safely while keeping excavation and costs to a minimum. Through proactive management and coordination, Ditesco helped deliver this important infrastructure project for the City of Loveland.
