With 26 stations, 11 park and ride locations, and 22 million in peak annual ridership, LYNX Blue Line, the first major rapid rail system in North Carolina, spans 19 miles from the Pineville area through Center City to UNC Charlotte. ESP is proud to have provided a wide variety of services in support of this project from the initial phase through its continued growth.
Our team’s services have included testing and inspections for structural grades, bridges, foundations, pavements, decks, and buildings; soil loss and drainage analysis at the I-277 overpass; subsurface exploration and storm drainage repair for Woodlawn and 7th Street station expansions; utility repair at New Bern station; ArcGIS mapping of environmental risks; and construction engineering and inspection.
