The City of Fort Collins began construction of its municipal-owned broadband network, Connexion, in 2019. Three-quarters of the way through the build, Ditesco, an ESP Company, was brought on to implement project controls, audit the network, and ensure the contractor delivered a high-quality installation.

The fiber build included installation of fiber distribution hubs (FDHs), fiber cable, directional boring, cabinets, vaults, flower pots, and huts to create a fully operational fiber-to-the-premise network. Our team provided staff augmentation services to support the city’s efforts – taking responsibility for outside plant management, assisting with network design, conducting daily field inspections, coordinating with the contractor and subcontractors, and facilitating communication with the public.
