CivilCorp, an ESP Company, prepared plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) to widen one mile of major urban arterial roadway from two-lane asphalt with open ditch to a four-lane divided curb and gutter boulevard with raised median. Developed to TxDOT criteria and constructed through TxDOT’s process, this project included continuous sidewalk, shared-use bicycle lanes, storm sewer design with offsite detention pond, signing, and pavement marking.
Our team performed all roadway design tasks, including typical sections, roadway plan and profile, and cross sections. We also performed drainage impact analysis, prepared a drainage study and report documenting existing and proposed conditions, and explored outfall options for Vicksburg Ditch, Fort Bend Parkway, and Long Point Creek.
