CivilCorp, an ESP company, provided engineering and construction management services for a project to extend an existing rail spur for the Victoria County Navigation District. Due to increased rail activity at the Port of Victoria, there was a need for additional rail capacity. Close coordination with the short-line rail service provider and VCND staff was essential for a successful project. Our team’s responsibilities included design and preparation of contract documents, procurement of construction services, construction administration services, and additional support services. The project extended the port’s existing track no. 716 by approximately 2,600 linear feet.
