In partnership with VS Engineering, ESP provided a UAS and mobile lidar survey for 7 miles of I-70 through Henry and Wayne County for the Indiana Department of Transportation. This data set would be used to assess the current drainage infrastructure in support of engineered improvements to create a safer driving surface.
To acquire the data, ESP deployed our Microdrone MD4-3000 with a Riegl MiniVUX-1DL lidar sensor and our Riegl VMX-1ha mobile lidar system. Data was then provided via high-resolution LAS point cloud files, perspective, and images.
