As part of an on-call contract for geotechnical, environmental, and vibration monitoring services, ESP provided vibration monitoring for the construction of a new sewer line in northwest Charlotte. Services included pre-blast assessments for over 100 residences, vibration monitoring during rock blasting, and assistance to address post-blasting complaints.  Our team often responded with only a day’s notice to monitor blasts, usually setting up three Micromate seismographs at nearby residences around the blast to record ground motions and air pressure. This project also included geotechnical engineering and testing.
