Steve Cook Joins ESP as CEI Group Manager

ESP is pleased to welcome Steve Cook, PE, CEI Group Manager, to the enterprise! Steve joins the ESP team in our Morrisville, North Carolina office, bringing in more than 35 years of experience in construction inspection and administration, with a strong focus on bridge and culvert design management. 

Steve’s extensive background includes 12 years with the NCDOT Structure Design Unit, giving him a firsthand understanding of the challenges and priorities our transportation clients face. His experience will help us tailor our CEI services to deliver even greater value and partnership within our Transportation Business Unit. 

Among his many qualifications, Steve brings an impressive project portfolio that includes the subcontractor award of several local North Carolina contracts, including the R-2828 / R-2721 – I-540 Toll Road, Wake County contract, the NCDOT Division 1 HB-0001 Alligator River Bridge Replacement, and the NCDOT Division 13 Hurricane Helene US19W Corridor Projects.  

As CEI Group Manager, Steve will serve as both a business development leader for future operations and a mentor to our established CEI team members. His onboarding reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding our transportation footprint across the Carolinas and enhancing our service offerings to serve our transportation clients best. We look forward to seeing the success Steve’s experience will bring to both our clients and communities.
